What facial clients say
“First time ever getting a facial and I had a great experience at Dr. HIFU Aesthetics. My esthetician was very knowledgeable and the manager made me feel comfortable right away. The facial left my skin feeling really clean and refreshed, and the pricing was great.”
“The entire experience was so relaxing, and Mirjana was incredibly kind and welcoming. I felt very well taken care of from start to finish.”
“What I loved most was how she tailored the facial specifically to my skin and my needs instead of just doing the same treatment for everyone. She paid attention to every little detail on my face and really took her time. I also appreciated that she didn’t try to upsell me on anything I didn’t need.”
How a facial visit goes
- A quick skin check. We ask about your routine, what your skin reacts to and what you want to change.
- Cleanse and exfoliate, gentler or deeper depending on your skin.
- The main step: masks, ampoules, LED light or the meso step, depending on the facial.
- Finish with hydration and sun protection, and a short note on what to use at home.
Want to go further than a facial? See our peels or microneedling.
What each step of a facial is like
Here is how a facial visit runs, start to finish.
Start with your routine
Your visit opens with a conversation, so come ready to describe what you use at home; a photo of your product labels works well. Mention anything with retinol or acids, any prescription skin creams, and anything your skin has reacted to before. That tells your provider how gentle or how thorough the next steps should be.
Cleansing, then the main step
Every facial starts with a cleanse and exfoliation. After that comes the part where facials differ most. Depending on the one you book, it can include:
- Janssen ampoules: small, single-use vials of concentrated serum, opened during your visit.
- LED light: a quiet stretch where you lie back under colored light and simply rest.
- Toning gloves: used by your provider for a hands-on step across the face.
- The meso step: a serum step with no needles at all. In the Meso Therapy Facial, that serum includes vitamins and hyaluronic acid.
You are welcome to ask about any step as it happens. If you would rather rest, that is fine too.
Before you leave
You get a few minutes to ask about home care and which facial might suit your next visit. If your provider mentions a product, jot down the name; it is easy to forget on the drive home.
How to choose a facial by what you want from the visit
Skin type matters, but so does what you want the visit to feel like. Find the line that sounds most like you.
- A gentle visit for skin that reacts easily. The Sensitive Skin Facial ($200) uses calming, hydrating products and includes the meso step.
- A deep clean when your skin feels congested. The Purifying Hydration Facial ($225) starts with a deep cleanse and purifying masks, then adds layers of hydration and the meso step.
- A facial with massage. The Timeless Facial ($250) includes massage techniques along with nourishing ingredients and deep hydration.
- A slow, rich facial for skin that feels dry or tired. The Caviar Facial ($350) layers caviar extract, antioxidants, vitamins and fatty acids, with the meso step included.
- A fresh look before a date on the calendar. The Secret Glow Facial ($275) pairs gentle exfoliation with a nourishing mask and targeted hydration. Mention the date of your event when you book.
- Your back, not your face. The Back Facial and Peel ($350) gives the skin you cannot easily reach a thorough cleanse, exfoliation and a peel made for the back.
- A facial and HIFU in one visit. The Signature HIFU Facial ($550) combines microdermabrasion, infrared light and the meso step with HIFU across the face.
- A first visit to try us out. The Meso Therapy Facial is our introductory offer at $95, one per client. See all our introductory offers.
If two lines sound right, book the one that matches how your skin feels this week. You can try the other next time.
After your facial
Your provider's advice for your skin comes first. These are the general basics for the next day or two.
- Wear sunscreen. Use a broad-spectrum sunscreen every morning and reapply when you are outdoors. Freshly exfoliated skin can be more sensitive to sun, and Irvine has plenty of it.
- Keep products gentle. Stick to a mild cleanser and a simple moisturizer for a day or two.
- Pause exfoliants. Skip scrubs, exfoliating pads, and acid or retinol products for a day or two, unless your provider tells you otherwise.
- Leave your skin alone. Try not to pick or rub, especially if your facial included a peel, as the Back Facial and Peel does.
Skin can look a little pink right after exfoliation or massage. If something does not feel right, or you have a question after your visit, call (949) 762-9476 or text us.
When to come back
There is no set schedule. Some people keep a facial as a regular appointment; others book one before an event, a trip or a change of season. What makes sense depends on your skin, the facial you chose and your budget, so ask us at your visit. If you are also planning a peel or microneedling, ask how to space it around your facials.
