How it works
Microneedling uses a device with very fine needles to create tiny channels in the surface of the skin. We follow it with a hydrating ampoule rich in moisturizing ingredients. Clients often choose it for the look of texture, enlarged pores and dull skin. Results vary from person to person.

Your visit, step by step
Here is how the appointment usually runs, in four steps.
- Cleanse. Your skin is cleansed to remove makeup, sunscreen and oil, so the treatment starts on a clean surface.
- The microneedling pass. Your provider moves the device across the treatment area. The settings and the number of passes depend on your skin, and the clinic explains them at your consultation. You can ask for a pause at any point.
- The hydrating ampoule. An ampoule is a small vial of serum. Ours is a hydrating one, applied after the microneedling step. Ask, and your provider will go over its ingredients with you.
- Finish and aftercare. Before you leave, your provider checks your skin and walks you through aftercare. Ask anything you are unsure about, including whether and when to book again.
The first few days after
Redness similar to a mild sunburn for a day or so is commonly described, and the skin can feel warm or tight at first. Skin varies from person to person, so read this as a general picture, not a promise.
The clinic gives you aftercare instructions at your visit. Follow those first. In general, plan to:
- Keep products gentle: a mild cleanser and a plain moisturizer, or what the clinic gives you. No scrubs, exfoliating acids or retinol until the clinic says you can restart them.
- Protect your skin from the sun with shade, a hat and sunscreen, used the way your provider advises.
- Skip makeup until the clinic tells you it is fine to wear it again.
- Hold off on hard workouts and saunas until the clinic says so.
- Leave the area alone: no peels, waxing, at-home devices or other treatments on it until the clinic says so, and try not to touch or pick at it.

Microneedling or something else?
Still deciding? Here is how three other visits on our menu differ. The choice usually comes down to what you want from the appointment and how much time you can plan around afterward.
- Facials are needle-free and built around cleansing, exfoliation, masks and hydration, with options for reactive, congested, dry or mature skin.
- Chemical peels exfoliate with acids and plant-based ingredients. How much flaking to expect ranges from the Bio Peel, our gentlest, to the Deep Phyto Peel, designed to peel over about ten days.
- The Signature HIFU Facial combines microdermabrasion, infrared light, a needle-free meso step and HIFU in one visit: $550 for 1 hr 30 mins.
If you are still unsure, choose "Not sure yet" on the request form, and we will suggest a place to begin.
Who should talk to us before booking
A few situations call for a conversation first. If any of these apply, tell us when you call to book:
- You are pregnant, or think you might be.
- You have breakouts, a rash, irritation or another skin condition on the area you want treated.
- You recently had a peel, laser, waxing, injections or another treatment on that area, here or elsewhere.
- You use prescription skin products, such as a retinoid, or take medicine for your skin.
- Something in your health history makes you unsure.
This is not medical advice, and it is not a complete list. It is here so the right questions come up early. New clients complete a brief medical review before their first treatment, and your provider will tell you whether to go ahead, wait, or consider something else. See how care works here, under the oversight of our Medical Director. Please keep medical details out of the online request form; it only needs a way to reach you and the treatment you are interested in.
